Question:

My 6-year-old son hyperactive and friends keep telling me that the reason for this very large amount of sweet to have in your diet. I wonder how sugars affect children and can it be the cause of his hyperactivity?

Sugar, i.e sweets (saturated hydrocarbons) in excess is not healthy for either an adult or a child. Not only will the child gain weight, but it will hurt the teeth and may cause various metabolic disorders. On the other hand, require a moderate amount of the sweet body.

For proper growth and development of the child must have a balanced diet, therefore, must be taken with proteins and fats, and carbohydrates.
